How It Works

Step 1: Have both Walking Ballista and Heliod, Sun-Crowned on the battlefield.

Step 2: Ensure Walking Ballista has at least two +1/+1 counters on it.

Step 3: Use Heliod's ability to give Walking Ballista lifelink.

Step 4: Remove a +1/+1 counter from Walking Ballista to deal 1 damage to any target. Due to lifelink, you gain 1 life.

Step 5: Heliod's ability triggers, allowing you to put a +1/+1 counter back on Walking Ballista.

Step 6: Repeat Steps 4-5 for infinite damage.
