How It Works

Cast Plea for Power by paying . When it resolves, vote for "time." Attempt to get other players to vote for "time" as well, ensuring you win the vote and take an extra turn after this one.

During your extra turn, cast Council's Judgment by paying . When it resolves, vote for a specific opponent's critical nonland permanent(s) you wish to exile. Attempt to get other players to vote for the same target(s) to guarantee their exile.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 during your extra turn and any subsequent turns you gain from Plea for Power. This process allows you to systematically dismantle opponents' boards by exiling all their key nonland permanents and effectively take all remaining turns in the game, leading to a win condition.

Prerequisites

  • Sufficient mana each turn to cast Plea for Power and Council's Judgment ().

  • Ability to influence other players' votes (through political negotiation or other effects) to ensure you get "time" on Plea for Power and a common target on Council's Judgment.
